Easterseals Launches New “We Celebrate” PSA and Disability Inclusion Campaign

Easterseals champions all of life’s moments. All that makes us different, and yet, very much the same.  That is why I am excited to share with you our new “We Celebrate” ad campaign.  “We Celebrate” is a continuation of our groundbreaking 2018 “Celebrate. Don’t Separate.” campaign. That campaign was the first in our organization’s history and delivered more than 240 million impressions through billboards, bus stop shelters, digital and print ads. It earned marketing awards and is included in the Smithsonian Institute’s disability archives.

“We Celebrate” continues our goal of shifting how disability is viewed and raising awareness about the need for inclusion. It also celebrates our 100th Anniversary.  Over the last 100 years, Easterseals has helped people with disabilities live, learn, work and play in their communities. Our “We Celebrate” campaign not only celebrates that legacy, but also inspires the public to join our mission – in both big and small ways – as we strive for everyone to be 100 percent included and 100 percent empowered.

The campaign was conceptualized and developed pro bono by our partners at E/LA Advertising, headed by our Board member Andre Filip. “We Celebrate” features people of all abilities enjoying life’s moments that bring us all together. The powerful images are tied together by what Easterseals celebrates.

The campaign, which includes an impactful PSA that you can view here, along with print, radio, digital and outdoor advertising, will continue to roll out throughout the year.

To further encourage public support, the campaign also includes a social media component asking the public to “Show Us How You Celebrate.”  A gallery of the public’s photo submissions and information about the campaign will post to social media platforms.  I encourage you to visit WeCelebrate.org and share how you celebrate.

We began 2019 celebrating in a big way with Easterseals’ award-winning Rose Parade Float and our celebration will continue throughout the year with more exciting opportunities to come.
