Easterseals Outreach & Engagement Hosts A Holiday Mental Health Workshop For Orange County Residents

On Monday, December 21, 2020, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM PST, Easterseals Outreach & Engagement will host “Coping During COVID Holidays,” an online workshop designed to provide a variety of coping skills & strategies to manage this year’s unprecedented holiday season.

The workshop will also feature a discussion about alternative ways to celebrate the holidays more safely this year for those vulnerable to COVID-19 or who have loved ones in the higher risk category.

James “Reese” Peterson has been with Easterseals Southern California’s Adult Day Services for the past three years. After starting as a Life Skills Coach, he received a promotion to Program Assistant, taking on supervision of employees, implementation of behavioral plans, and general program needs. In July 2020, he was selected as the Outreach & Engagement Specialist for the Outreach and Engagement collaborative, which focuses on providing mental health services to the disability community. While working for Easterseals, he is continuing his education towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration.
