Celebrate the 31st Anniversary of the Americans With Disability Act and Change the Way the World Sees Disability 

Today is the 31st anniversary of The Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA). This legislation gives civil rights protections to individuals with disabilities and ensures equal opportunity access to employment, transportation, telecommunications, state and local government programs and services.

Easterseals was one of the original supporters of the ADA and worked to get the law passed so that people with disabilities have the same rights and opportunities as every other American.
